Ms. Tyler’s home in Sunnyside was seriously damaged by Hurricane Harvey: the exterior siding had holes, the windows, toilet, and sinks were leaking, the electric system was damaged and some outlets stopped working. She, her two children and granddaughter were not safe in their home.
Ms. Tyler drives a shuttle bus in the medical center but with her work hours reduced due to COVID, she could not afford to repair her house. She is so very grateful for the work contractors performed to return the home to a secure and livable condition.
