Rebuilding Juntos 2025

In September 2025, Rebuilding Together Houston hosted its 4th Annual Rebuilding Juntos celebration in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, bringing together volunteers, community leaders, and partners to invest in safe and healthy housing throughout Houston's historic East End. Presented by Reliant for the fourth consecutive year, the celebration highlighted the story of Ms. Cisneros, whose family home has stood in the East End since 1935. Following significant storm damage, critical repairs including a new roof, electrical and plumbing work, insulation, siding repairs, and accessibility improvements helped ensure the home remains safe for future generations.

Rebuilding Juntos also expanded its impact beyond a single home. Throughout the celebration, volunteers and partners worked to support additional East End homeowners, including Army veteran Mr. Jaramillo, Ms. Franco, and Ms. Omana, each of whom received critical repairs that will help them remain safely in the homes they have built their lives around. Their stories reflect the rich history, resilience, and family traditions that continue to shape Houston's Hispanic communities.

The event was made possible through the support of Reliant, Cheniere, Latin Women's Initiative, Telemundo Houston, Comcast, Audacy, the Houston Texans Cheerleaders, KHOU 11, and many dedicated volunteers and community partners. Rebuilding Juntos celebrates the importance of preserving homeownership, honoring cultural heritage, and strengthening neighborhoods so families can continue creating memories for generations to come.
