Rebuilding Together Houston celebrates Black History Month in the historic Third Ward with our Presenting Sponsor Reliant Energy.
We celebrated Black History Month On Tuesday, February 13, 2024 with “Rising Together,” accompanied by our Presenting Sponsor Reliant Energy and our partner the Houston Rockets. Ms Sarah Joseph, Rockets Vice President, Community Relations & Events, speaks about our partnership.
As part of Black History Month, we partnered with Fit Houston, Friends of Columbia Tap, and Urban Paths to promote a walk along the historic Columbia Tap Trail, which runs right by Mr. Goosby's home. The walk included a historical talk about Third Ward.
