Rebuilding Together Houston has repaired over 15,000 homes in and around Harris County for more than 43 years. These repairs provide families with safety and stability that can extend the life of a home for 20 years or more. In Houston alone, more than 100,000 seniors, veterans, and working families with children are facing daily hazards such as leaking roofs, broken plumbing, dangerous electrical systems, and holes in flooring that place their lives at risk. Our repairs don’t just make homes safer—they transform lives. Every dollar gifted to Rebuilding Together Houston is stretched to reach as many homes as possible, helping our neighbors who need it most.

As we step into a new year, we’re reflecting on what we accomplished together in 2025—and it’s because of you. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, volunteers, and supporters, Rebuilding Together Houston addressed unsafe housing conditions and helped thousands of neighbors live with greater safety, stability, and dignity.

Your support made our end-of-year matching campaign especially powerful. With the leadership of our Board of Directors, every gift was matched dollar for dollar up to $25,000—allowing us to raise _________ to support critical home repairs for homeowners across Houston. These funds are already helping neighbors remain safely housed in the homes they love.

Because of you, homeowners like Modesto Jaramillo, an 89-year-old Army veteran who has lived in his Denver Harbor home for decades, can continue to age in place with dignity. Critical repairs to his roof, electrical system, and bathroom have made his home safer and more accessible—preserving a lifetime of memories and ensuring he can continue welcoming his children and grandchildren into a secure home.

Across Houston, seniors, veterans, and working families are living in homes that are falling apart through no fault of their own. When roofs leak, floors fail, or electrical systems become unsafe, the risk of displacement becomes real. Because of you, that story has a different ending for hundreds of families each year.
